APPLICATON FOR ENTRY INTO THIS COMPETITION

CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONDITIONS

This event will be run as far as possible under  Pony Club Evening Rules 2006 – but please note the following:

  1. Competitors must report to the Steward for each phase 10 minute before their allotted start time
  2. No outside assistance may be given in any class 
  3. No horse/pony may be entered more than once    
  4. Classes 1 and 3 ONLY – competitors may continue to the next fence on the cross country course after 3 refusals with permission from the jump judge, provided priority is given to other competitors on the course. 
  5. Should a rider fall during the Show Jumping phase; the Judge must be satisfied the rider is capable of continuing the competition.  After 2 falls the competitor will be eliminated. 
  6. Should a competitor be eliminated in the Show Jumping phase permission must be received from the Judge to continue with the rest of the competition. 
  7. All competitors MUST wear a body protector for the Cross Country phase and it is recommended one also be worn for the Show Jumping phase. 
  8. Pony Club members MUST wear a medical armband for Show Jumping and Cross Country 
  9. All competitors MUST wear an approved hat to a current British Standard – A/NZS 3838 1998, SNELL E2001, PAS015, EN1384 (BSI kite Mark or SEI) and ASTM F1163 (with SEI). All hats must be Pony Club tagged.  Hats may be checked. 
  10. Long hair must be tied up not only for safety but to ensure fence Judges can clearly see numbers on bib.  No loose plaits please. 
  11. No fences other than those marked for the purpose may be used for practice. 
  12. No galloping or cantering outside warm up areas. 
  13. PC Members only - Spurs may be worn if the rider can produce a membership card at each phase of the competition from your DC showing permission to ride your current pony with spurs during 2006. 
  14. Dogs on leads at all times please. 
  15. In case of cancellation due to adverse weather conditions a   small administration charge will be deducted from refunded entry fees.  
  16. Entries with payment will be given priority.  No refunds after closing date.  Once a class is full all further entries will be placed on a waiting list.
